Cable type speedometers dont have VSS.

 

What model? its probably mounted on the back of the speedo head like on other models.

 

japan model DD51 carry pickup 4x4MT 5-speed (not power steering).... speedo = cable type....

need to know where is the VSS for tapping of the small wires from the PS module for conversion to power steering... good if there are pics of it....

If it's a cable type speedometer, then, as Rhinoman has suggested, the VSS (if fitted) will be in the speedometer.
