Hi, very new to working on cars. I really love the sound and reliability that boxer engines have. I’ve been trying learn as much as possible about the fa24 from the gr86’s. Is it possible to swap an fa24, or any other boxer into a samurai? Thank you!!

I'd also nix the idea of a TDi, there's no way to "gear" it properly - the Samurai axle gears are better suited to a high revving small displacement gasoline engine than they are to a diesel that delivers it's power at lower rpm. It can work if you're going to be running larger tires for use off road, but it's not at all suited for highway use.
