I don't see that much more power just being made by changing the maps, you're going to need more airflow, so better intake & exhaust would be one way to approach it - a quick glance at the parts catalog shows the Jimny uses a different camshaft, so that's another possibility.

 

ahh tbf that makes a lot of sense, as the engine would need more torque thus creating the miniscule power difference you see lol. It was just a random thought i had, wont matter much when all is said and done lol. ty for your reply

I think you may find theres subtle differences in head design, valve size, definitely cams and the rest of the internal bits.
Compression ratio varies between 10:1 and 11.5 which us a bit more than just a cam.

 

interesting. i didnt think there was such a difference. probs not really any point goung through all that bother tho, might as well just go g13b twin cam head at that point
