I suggest you put the pipe back in place and take a picture of it "in situ" so we can see where it fits or maybe tell us where the two ends connect to ...

I'm guessing it's emissions or idle speed control related rather than a coolant or fuel hose, but none of the parts catalogs I have access to show anything with that "bulge" in the middle.

 

It connects from under the IAC valve, comes up and connects onto the throttle body, if you pinch it with your fingers, the engine stalls, if you pinch it with your fingers and let go slowly, you hear it sucking air (vac pipe)

there is no valve in the cavity of the pipe, i blew and sucked on it and at both instances, it was free flowing, would a normal pipe/hose work ???

 

I believe what you have is shown as #29, 18141-77E01 - HOSE, IAC VALVE - my guess is a regular hose would work, you might have problems with it kinking.
