I have a Suzuki Vitara from 2016, I bought it second-hand after 30k KM, now it's done 33k KM. I live in France.
The car's specifications are 1.6l engine, 5 gears Manual gearbox, AllGrip.
Some weird noises are coming from under the passenger side. I took it twice to the dealership, and they told me that there is nothing wrong with it. Which is true, the car is properly working as far as I can tell.
There are 2 noises however, I will try to describe them below:
The first is like a single metallic cable whip again the body panel that comes from under the passenger seat, followed almost always by what sounds like a coin rolling on a flat hard surface.
I recorded the noises using a smartphone laid just behind/below the passenger seat (inside the cabin):
Audio recording one : e1-1.mp4
Audio recording two : e1-2.mp4
The noises occur in many cases:
-After changing gears from 1st to 2nd, while accelerating after taking my foot off the clatch.
-Less frequently after changing gears from 2nd to 3rd.
-When briefly jamming the throttle.
-When braking hard, and less frequently when braking softly.
-When turning (sometimes even without changing gears or braking).
-Rarely when I slam the door, while the car is at rest (engine turned off)
One more thing, the noises come and go, once, there were absolutely no weird sounds for almost a month and then it came back after braking hard at a red light.
Please share with me any insights, if you have/had the same problem or have any ideas on how to diagnose the issue.
