Hi guys,
My Suzuki Swift 2012 has an issue where the traction control light stays on constantly. The scan shows C1091 - CAN invalid data from ECM, and I've also got a P100 fault code.

I’ve already checked:

Battery

ABS sensors

Spark plugs (NGK, in good condition)

Any ideas what could be causing this?

Good morning, step 1. You remove the cable from the negative pole of the battery. Step 2. Disconnect the two large plugs from the TOU control unit A BS. STEP 3. Clean well With a special cleaning spray for electrical contacts, a lot before both connectors and the unit respectively. Step 4. You let them dry for about a quarter of an hour. Step 5.Reconnection. Step 6. Connect the negative pole. End or damage is a thing of the past. Know that a cleaning of the butterfly also helps a lot The throttle butterfly. but be careful, the cleaning must be done knowing a few things.Otherwise, there is a risk of damage. Do these and I'll wait for you to tell me. George engineer from Corinth Greece.

Hi George, thank you very much for your advice, I followed your instructions and cleaned the ABS control unit thoroughly using electrical contact spray. I let it dry properly and reconnected everything, but the traction light is still on. Do you have any advice on what steps I should take next?

I'm tired of writing them, of saying them, of making hundreds of these cars with this particular problem. You will clean the air meter well and properly, if necessary you will change it. You will do the same with the intake manifold pressure sensor. You will clean the butterfly properly,... be careful here, the butterfly properly.... You will change brake fluids, and do a complete throttle calibration..if all of the above is done correctly, then the problem will be a thing of the past. Honestly, I must have made more than Two hundred such cars, with this problem.I am George, an engineer from Corinth, Greece.
