Hello, maybe you can help me. Well, I recently bought a car Suzuki SX4 s-cross, 2015, automatic, CVT gearbox, 1.6 petrol, 120 km, and while driving at a speed of 30 km/h to 50 km/h, when I let off the gas pedal, and after pressing it gently, there is a knocking sound from under the engine, like the sound of metal knocking. o metal that is very loud. After accelerating or driving at higher speeds or when the gas pedal is released, this sound is not heard, in fact there is a knocking noise when driving in the city when I move at the above-mentioned speed. When you drive faster, you don't hear this knocking noise. I took the car to the mechanic and the mechanic says it's the gearbox, I replaced a part in it and it still knocks, the mechanic wants to order a new gearbox but it's a huge amount and I'm not convinced it can be the gearbox. Can you help me somehow or have you encountered such a situation?

Hello, I'm speaking from Brazil. The Suzuki SX4 S-Cross, model year 2015/2016, is having problems with the automatic transmission. The engine speed starts to change on its own (it oscillates) during acceleration and over time the automatic transmission "loses power" and can't perform its function. I was told at Suzuki and on complaint forums in Brazil (Reclame aqui) that this is a chronic problem with Suzuki models with naturally aspirated engines. The gears in the gearbox release "filings" (?) that impair the operation of the automatic transmission. It seems that models with turbo engines do not have the problem. Suzuki is NOT issuing a recall here, but is assuming the responsibility of replacing the automatic transmission free of charge. My car will be delivered today after Suzuki replaces the automatic transmission. I hope this helps. Best regards, Rodrigo Baêta!
