Spare Tire Wheel Lock

Noticed the lock on the spare tire and can't remember if I bought it or if it came with the vehicle.

Can't find any key that works on it but didn't try the ignition key.

Can anyone confirm the ignition key works in it? -at work right now and this is really buggin me.

If it is the OEM lock that was delivered with the vehicle then yes the ignition key works with it - if it is an after market lock OR an OEM lock that was installed after delivery then the ignition key will not work.
