I have a j20a Short wheel base suzuki escudo 1996 with the 16 inch rims and silver trim. I could not find anywhere what size tyres would fit on it so i thought i would make this post to show you. This tyre size should work on the long wheel base 16 inch rim v6 suzuki vitara/escudo too.

The tyre size is 225/75r16
This is a 29.5 inch tyre.
I was amazed it fits without rubbing.

The Escudo pictured is the SV420, the long wheel base version is the SV620 - my nephew is running 225/70R16 on his SV620 - if the steering alignment is not perfectly set, the tires will rub the frame on full lock and the rear arches will foul the tires if the vehicle is loaded (three adults in the rear) and taken off pavement, I suggest you stop at 225/70R16s.

Haha yeah long wheelbase would be nice too, you can fit more cargo. My wheel offset might be slightly different because when sitting on the ground I'm still 5mm away from rubbing the frame. However when it was on the jackstands it was rubbing on the frame.

First - we would need to know WHICH old model Nomade you have.
Second - the Nomades that I'm familiar with - no, a 265/70R15 will not fit without significant modification

Last, but by no means least - it's not just about fit - larger tyres will affect the vehicles performance negatively, reduced performance, reduced fuel economy and reduced braking.
