A permanent positive feed would be the battery positive terminal (please use a fuse close to the battery terminal - and disconnect the battery negative before doing any work), or, any fuse coming off of the bus in the main fuse box.

Where you connect depends on what you're connecting and you haven't told us that.

 

Hi thanks for that was planning on piggy backing from the fuse box inside the car its for a Taxi meter.

 

Inside the car there will be several places with a permanent positive feed - for example, the ignition switch, or the light switch, or just grab a volt meter and check the fuses in the box.

 

Thanks again will meter it out just thought if anybody could point out a obvious one it is always better than lying on the floor trying especially in these temps it is one degree here and trying to snow.
