Damn, how come and whats the logic you know? Why on some yes on some not?

 

There are only two lines and one of them has to be the ODO.

 

I have the ODO, trip 1 and trip 2...individually at the push of a button..

So to summarize - its different in the different countries? And can a no country update the software and become a yes country?

 

Would you like to share how you arrived at the idea it's different in different countries? I see nothing in this discussion that suggests that to be the case.

 

Well, the first post after i initiated the thread said: 'You can't, at least on the models here. One or the other, not both at the same time', so i thought 'models here' would mean that it depends on where you buy the car...if i am wrong then, ok, however i'd like to understand if i can get both odo and trip on there all together so anyone??

All he means that he hasn't seen any that allow you to do what you're asking - it doesn't mean that they exist.

Ok, seems a minor thing however id like to clear it up for myself so 2 things here - a/ no clue if its 1 or 2 lines, how can i see this?; b/ why would it be different and some would display both and some either of the 2? My car is a brand new Vitara, June 2021. Thanks!

You have a brand new car, and presumably the owner's manual - if it's not shown as an option in the manual, consider it as not possible.

 

Simple answer, if your display has only one line, you will no be able to display 2 values...
