Checked all grounds I can find there all good getting 12v from battery car running placed the multimeter on thr b+ on alt and neg from battery still 12v
Tested both pins in the alt connecter I really have no idea what els to test
Any help would be alsome as I'm geting to the end of my patience lol

Both pins at alt? Which pins, should be at least 3. What year? I mean manufacture year, not registration year.

Should have 1 big terminal to battery via main alt fuse. 2 maybe 3 smaller terminals in the plug, one is switched 12v from ignition, the other is the charge light, 3rd one is charge control from ecm or bcm.

Its possible the alternator is dead due to the dead battery. The fact the main alt fuse has gone suggests a bigger issue. Fuse still good?

Let's get a better idea of what really happened and when.

What do you mean you had a short on the battery? Tell us exactly what happened. You don't mention replacing the battery at this point, but in my experience a battery with an internal short circuit usually requires a replacement. I think it might be a good idea for me to point out that "non-technical" people frequently use the term "short" incorrectly - it actually describes a very specific electrical failure. A short or short circuit involving an automotive battery commonly causes fuses to blow and can result in fire.

You then replaced the alternator and all was good until the battery died - how long are we talking about - a day? a week? two years? The battery died meaning it was flat & needed charging or it was no longer holding a charge?

Since then you've replaced the battery, the alternator and the 80A fuse - why were these replaced? what testing was done to determine that they were defective prior to replacement? were the replacements new or used?

Does the charge light on the dash board come on when the ignition is first switched on? Does it go out after the engine has been started?

Ok from the beginning lol
the car had a faulty alternator it was changed and a new drive belt (befor I got the car) the car was running all good and was given to me as my car blew up.

So after a month or so the car developed a squeck every now n then coming from engine was told by a mechanic was proberly drive belt slipping n didn't think anything off it and took me far to long to do somthing about it eventually the squeaking was constant so tightend the drive belt witch did nothing so whilst googling away my wife was at qork and snaped the drive belt so at this point I put it in the garage and thought I'd look at what was squeaking and thought qas the alternator as when the drive belt snaped all noise went away, so got thr alt changed under warranty and put new on in car still squeaking basick decided well drive belt only turns from main shift alt and water pump so changed the water pump cam belt thermo with the new alt and drive belt ........ still squeaking,
though sod it who cares then found the car kept over heating and the fan wouldnt come on when car got hot had a look again and car was running for a wile and my father in law lent on the negative terminal on the battery and burnt him self 😳 thought ow shit that shouldn't happen and found the natural on the battery wasn't connecting with the ground properly as soon as we sorted that out the squeaking stoped so thought great ...
About a week later missis was driving and the car just stoped and wouldnt turn over as if was a dead battery so I jumped the car and drove it home with no lights or power steering took battery out charged it up put back in and tested only 12v
Put back in a garage took alternator out a mechanic suggested bad reg so changed the internal reg and put back in still 12v a mechanic then said test from b+ to negative on battery 12v put a wire from the new and touch the engine see if u get a spark nope no spark, checked all ground contacts were OK checked both pins on back of the alternator plug both giving of 12v so replaced the battery and then replaced the alternator and then noticed the 80amp pal fused was corroded and casing was all cracked so replaced that did all tested again and car still only giving of 12v

Hope I havwnt missed anything out its been a long few weeks and can safely say I'm an expert at geting the alternator out and in lol

Yes light gose on when ignition on and gose off when car is started also diagnostics dosent bring up any faults
