Because you have a poor connection, typically due to a poor quality cable.

I travel fairly frequently and drive rented vehicles when I do, and in the last decade or so I've experienced problems of this nature with a wide variety of vehicles - for me it has ALWAYS been a cable issue, I now travel with two "dedicated" cables, a USB-A to USB-C and a USB-C to USB-C, these are cables that are known to work well, and I have not had issues in about two years.

USB cable manufacturers distinguish between cables designed for charging and cables designed for data transfer as well.

 

If Google Maps worked and WAZE didn't it would probably have been a WAZE problem and not comms, the other three are all audio and those would, most likely, have used bluetooth.

 

when was the Infotainment system last time upgraded?
