Please remember we are not there, we cannot see what is happening - YOU need to provide the details - in short, YOU have to look for the pattern in what is happening before YOU can tell us, and if you can't there is going to be much we can do.

You haven't provided any details on the vehicle, presumably it's a Kizashi because you're posting in the Kizashi section of the forum, but sometimes folks post in the wrong section, so tell us what you have, what year is it?

If it's a push button start there's usually a screen that will provide some sort of feedback - messages like "no key detected" or "turn steering to release" - you haven't told us what message you're getting if any. I've given you two suggestions there, both of which can cause the car not to start intermittently - if the fob battery is weak, the system may not detect the fob and will not allow the engine to start. If the steering lock engages and does not release when the system activates the solenoid it will not allow the engine to start, and you'll get a message along the lines of the second one I suggested - you might need to rock the steering wheel when pushing the button.

YOU have to help us to help YOU.

Thanks. It is just the idea if his set up is the same, I would say the pigtail of the start stop ignition switch is bad!

I've had a few where the brake light switch was flakey and out of adjustment, that stops them from doing anything pretty quickly

Unfortunately there's a lot of things that need to be just right for the start button to work, including the fob battery and location of the fob in the car. As Fordem has said, any error messages on the display when its playing up?
