Attempting to pull harmonic balancer bolt holes on balancer do not line up with puller? I am using Y shaped puller, or is there a specific tool?

X2. They're either 8mm hex head or metric socket head bolts. I've seen them both ways.

If you must remove this, do not forget to torque the center bolt properly when you are replacing it. Torque is 94 ft/lbs. By the way, no need to remove the center bolt on the pulley if you are doing the timing belt....???

yes, a couple taps with a hammer and it fell on the floor. I assumed I needed a puller. The elastomer was so bad in the harmonic balancer that the pulley walked towards the rear of the engine destroying the timing cover and wearing a quarter inch off the width of the timing belt. what we thought were squealing belts was actually the harmonic balancer elastomer squealing.
