So im thinking about getting a geo metro but im a little concerned. I was reading about geo metros off of wikipedia and it says there is a ERG valve that commonly goes out and causes compression problems. How exactly are these compression problems fixed and did the creator ever fix the defect in the ERG valve?

Are these good first cars? Any recommendations? I was thinking on getting a Geo Metro 1994 i dont know why, i guess its because its all that on craigslist around here
