Well I’m gone for a month and somehow lost a hub while my car was parked. Now, I suppose it could have rattled free but I’m guessing someone stole it. Anyway it’s on my tracker but they were samurai aisin hubs so I thought I’d ask here if anyone has one they’d sell me?

Well I’m gone for a month and somehow lost a hub while my car was parked. Now, I suppose it could have rattled free but I’m guessing someone stole it. Anyway it’s on my tracker but they were samurai aisin hubs so I thought I’d ask here if anyone has one they’d sell me?

Did you use the cone washers when you fitted them? If you don't cone washers with the Aisin hubs, you will lose them.

. This time come washers and lots of red lock tite.
I actually don’t quite understand the purpose of the cone washers. They would seem to bind on the screws which would make them harder to tighten and get reliable torque. I guess they are for centering the hub precisely? But why not a lip on the flange for that, or a dowel sleeve.
