Bonnet catch safety release stuck

2005-10 swift
Don’t ask me how but I got my mate to put some halo headlights in as I was busy and when he put the bumper back on the twat bolted it all back up with the bonnet release safety catch leaver underneath the actual bumper!! He then shut the bonnet without realising and now I can’t open it atall, please help

You will have to devise a method of releasing the catch, probably from below with a length of metal coat hanger...

Easy fix in the end, big screw driver under the top of the bonnet release lever.

sorry bud, i didnt see this.

i levered the screwdriver under the bit in the photo, was really easy.

i hope you have it sorted now, its been a long time!
