OK guys,

I think my wife's XL-7 has been invaded by electrical gremlins.

First issue: No Brights
I've (of course) swapped the headlights as a pair. Pull back on the turn lever, and you've got (temporary) brights for signalling trucks to move over, etc...
Push forward for off-road and country road FULL-TIME brights, and ALL LIGHTS GO OUT!!! Bulbs are brand new, just won't work in 'Brights' position (turn lever pushed forward)

Issue 2: Wacked-out door locks
Second issue is that when you are in the car, the doors will lock/unlock all on their own. Touching NOTHING, and the doors will lock. Leave the car unlocked, come back, and guess what! She's LOCKED!!

Not sure if these 2 issues are related, but who knows. No warranty left

Id say the high beam issue is the stalk switch went back and needs to be replaced. The door lock issue sounds like a nicked hot wire which catches a ground from time to time
