The ebay auction you have linked to is for a RHD vehicle, your car is LHD, it is a different switch assembly, the turn signals are to the right of the steering wheel, and you have no guarantee that the wiring will be plug & play.

Assuming your car to be a US (not Canadian) market model, the part you want is 37400-50G30, if you share the VIN with me I can confirm the part number.

This one? I think it's LHD

. There are 4 direct interchange parts listed. Now, I don’t guarantee any of this, but for myself, I then start to google each alternative brand and part number to see if it’s what I’d need for my car.

Just searched each part and none are combination switches..

Actually, I found that some of them are the combo switch, but none are available. I then went to those manufacturer’s actual website. For example, Standard Motor Products, on their website, indicate CBS 1424, 1524 but not the 1624 that you would be looking for. ‘In desperation’, I would try to contact Standard to see if they have any new old stock, etc., for that part number.
However, AFAIK, you still have not tested the circuits for the things that run off the combination switch. For example, when you turn the headlights on, do you have any voltage anywhere along the wiring for the high beams? Have you properly tested the wiring to and from the turn signal relay? From your current list in post 109, it appears that only the blinkers are the only component off the combi switch that’s not working. The hazards do not work off of it, AFAIK. So, as the wipers, etc., are working, why assume the combi switch is the issue?
Personally, if I was going to do the ‘parts cannon’ idea of throwing parts at the issue, I’d be looking at the turn signal relay.

Weird , when I googled the manufacturer and part number they came up as different parts... what did you search for?
Yes as have said only the blinkers and hazards not working which stopped in the rain storm
I thought we determined the hazards are off the combination switch? I think on car-part.com what we're calling the combination switch is called the column switch?? There's nothing listed for combination switch and this is where I've gotten an old part before
Yes need to test wiring everything looks good and gearing up for having to get a new part in case that's what's needed, need to have it sourced and ready to order
Thank you as always...

Just confirm that you’ve tested the turn signal relay properly. Frankly, it would be a shame to go through all the hassle of finding a combination switch, installing it, and still finding that your blinkers and hazards don’t work. The combination switch does control the blinkers and hazards, but it’s far easier to first test the turn signal relay to confirm that’s working. In the meantime, did you share your VIN with Fordem so he could confirm the combination switch part number (post #122). Megazip does advise that the part number we’ve been looking for is discontinued. I had hoped that perhaps there were aftermarket suppliers, which appears to be a dead end. I don’t know, frankly, if combination switches from any other year for the Swift, or even the same year Sidekick, could be used instead…..????

And I suppose the next question may have to be: are there any junkyards near you? It seems almost impossible to find a combination switch for your car….:(

It's a brand new relay
Too rainy today to test wiring
Its not a hassle this car might need it and it will be sourced
Don't know either re other suzuki models.. maybe with an adjustment

Omgoodness... lol
Started car and loud buzzing sound coming out near dashboard.. turned car off as I was nervous this was a warning sign. waited a minute and turned car back on and buzzing sound came on. Pushed hazards button which is where the sound is coming from and the sound stopped LOL. Repeated that a few times and the sound would stop when the flashers button was down mind you no flashers turned on. Lol. I drove a little bit to a new parking space and turn the car off. then turn the car back on and no buzzing sound. Put it in first gear and buzzing sound came on. Stepped on the break and buzzing sound turned off. taking foot off the break buzzing sound comes back on. Lol
This is funny!

So weird 😕 my 1995 Suzuki Swift HB 4cyl 1.3 sohc 5pd ABS purple her name is Smudge 224,000km + she's never done this. Must be a corroded wire or fuse?
