Hello does anyone know how to remove the headunit of the 2017/2018 suzuki swift (the az model)?
I removed the glovebox expecting to see a screw like in older swift models but from what I can see it only pops in and out from the front.

I suppose the glossy black trim pops out in some way but I can't figure out how.
I also tried to remove the heater controls, the bottom part comes off pretty easy but the top part doesn't.
Does any of you have any idea?
I suppose the workshop manual would have this kind of informations, any of you know where i can find it?

It's a doddle on the 2017. Use a thing flat blade (NOT a screwdriver! - perhaps a spatula) and pry open the top cover adjoining the radio fascia (underneath the vents there. Remove that panel taking care not to damage the Hazard light switch wiring (disconnect that).

When that is off, the air vents will "fall" off comfortably, but have nothing to do with the radio. Perhaps just take them off for convenience.

You will see two large headed philips screws at a bit of an angle from the top, looking into the area you just uncovered, at the front on either side. These release the radio (Double DIN cage) which then just slides out.

Hope that helps.

As you don't specify which model, or year, I have attached the generic suzuki audio diagram.
hopefully this helps

pin numbers are in the picture I posted. thats the numbers closest to the rectangle that represents the radio.

Suzuki are pretty generic with wiring colours across models too.
