I'm pretty sure that the GV doesn't come with a stock Tranny cooler. I think the other radiator that you are looking at is the A/C evaporator which looks like a radiator but is located in front of the engine radiator. I hope this info helps.

If you're only towing 1500 lb the GV should be fine

 

it does have a sticker on it say "Heat Exchanger"?? and yes it is located in front of the radiator.

it really does look like a tranny cooler... i'm confused.

I'll be travelling for maybe 300 km for the trip with the boat..is it ok without a tranny cooler??

That looks like the Aircon condenser as has already been said.

 

Yes, there is a transmission cooler. It is located internal to the radiator at the bottom.

On the V-6 there are two steel lines just under the alternator. They connect to two rubber lines going to the bottom of the radiator. That is the cooler.

The unit in front of the radiator is indeed the A/C condenser.
