snow removal blade for Samurai?

Is it possible and feasible to put a snow blade on the front of my Samurai? With over a foot of snow still on our gravel mountain road this time, we would like to investigate this option so in the future we will not snowbound long after the black top roads are clear below.

Where would I get such a blade and how is it fastened to the car? Is it costly?

snow plow

I looked at the rocky road one... don't believe the crap they say about a _real_ plow. You don't tap into your power steering pumps, etc. One person does it all - not heavy. Hell, the new ones you even drive into it.
With the snoway one, it's a _real_ plow. You really do NOT want to get out over and over, every 5 seconds just to re-angle the stupid thing. The snoway has it's own hydro setup that stays on the plow. All you do is connect to the battery. Sit in the driver seat raise, lower, angle left and right without getting out.
All that said, yea, it cost more but again it's a real plow. The poster that said you can find a little ATV with a plow cheaper is right. I've even saw ones with little plastic tents around them, making a little cab. No heat but for something like a small area I'm sure they are good. You can also get a used (real) plow for your sammy cheaper than a new one.
Mine is the older style so I remove the subframe every spring and reinstall it in the fall. Still not a big deal. 4 bolts.
If you are only doing your own small driveway the RR may be fine but really... for anything else get a real one. Oh, and there are other major brand light weight plows out there.
just a few- you will want a poly, no steel. (the blade scraps, the poly part just rolls it)

George gave you some good info . I've plowed snow for almost 30 years and he is correct as far as I can see . The Snoway system is a great plow and that being said is a true dedicated plow . If you have a nice Sami and are wanting to use it to just plow your way out I still recommmend another vehicle . The cost of a true plow setup and putting the wear and tear on your Sami just doesn't outweigh getting a 4x4 tractor or atv at the same or less price with a blade already attached to it .
