Hi Everyone
I've imported a 2015 Suzuki Alto Turbo RS [ DBA-HA36S ] into Australia, but the car only came with one key fob. I would be comfortable with a backup.

Zero people in Australia can assist me in programming another key. Not Suzuki, no auto key maker. Internet tutorials generally give me the impression that if I have a working key then I should be able to DIY program an additional key, however every single guide I come across has a step where I must 'insert the functional key'. This car is a push-start, there is no inserting any key.

Is there anything I can do, short of shipping the entire car back to japan, to acquire a backup means to use my car?

"Inserting" key on a push button start means holding it over the button.

Being a jap import, good luck finding a correct frequency fob. Could be one of the 2 main frequency used, or could just as easily be something else.

You will need a high end scan tool to program the immobiliser, programming the lock/unlock buttons "should" be able to be done without a scan tool. I say should, but being a jdm model, even that ability is an unknown.

Ecu needs to be programmed to every other module in the car, but at least the immobiliser will have the 2 keys coded.
