Hi, there I got a problem programming a Suzuki grand Vitara key.

I used the following procedure.

1.get in the car.
2.open the driver's door keep it open.
3.insert key turn to on then back to off pull the key out.
4.press the door side dome button x3 times.
5.insert key turn on then turn off pull the key out.

from there I get the door locks open and close.

I press the lock open button, I get no response on the car locks...
I even wait for a time with my finger on the open button and tried the lock button till the lock automatically start to lock with no joy.

I tried with the door locked same with the finger on the buttons no joy.

the car a 1.6 version and a 2007.

The button for the locks is on the key itself.

anyone got any ideas, please...

The key i got was an id46 433mhz

here a video on here this forum, i was trying this as can read above ...
no joy at all, even after the door locks lock and unlock, the remote still doesn't register ...

The man in the video press his main key button first, then the new remote button ill try that aswell.....

What model what market was vehicle manufactured for?

They also use 315 MHz depending on the market.

Without specific test tools, theres no way of telling which frequency your remotes should be, and whether the blank you have is designed to work with the security module in your vehicle.

Got some pictures might help with my original key and chip...

101375

The plastic say
Ts002 as you can see in the picture.

I think the MHz is 315 what you said
Might ask the seller to send that one out and send mine back...

I have a Delhi setup that I can use on the obd it got the Immobiliser on the application ill have to wait as the old PC laptop battery has gone dead ordered a new battery.

I Will keep you all updated.
