Power Steering Reservoir

Quick question for those that may know. My 2006 XL-7 (Premium, 4x4, 2.7 V6) has a small crack on the bottom of the power steering reservoir and is leaking power steering fluid. Will the reservoir off a 2002 Vitara fit? It's the only GV/XL-7 I can find in my area at a pick n pull about 45mins away. I believe it will fit, but I'd like to have a definitive answer before I make the trip Saturday mornin'

Any help would be appreciated.

If you cannot find one, I have repaired one with epoxy, just have to clean it well and abrade the surfaces

I assume that you mean GRAND Vitara, with regards to the potential donor. And with the 2.5L?

Even so...the reservoir part numbers differ, so all bets are off as to exacting replacements.

I assume it's the GV... The website for the PnP im looking at has it listed as a Vitara... but has the 2.7. Here is the donor in question.

The 2.7 wasn't installed in a Grand Vitara for 2002.

Maybe it is an XL-7 then.

Yeah that's what i thought too. I did a search for the VIN they have listed on the site 'JS3TX92V024115071' turns out... its an XL-7 after all.
