Hi so i notice that my car (Suzuki Swift 2010) is having an unusual noise while driving on the rough road. I thought it was the dashboard; only to find the the noise is the from the steering wheel column (SWC)

The SWC part number of my car is 4820071L20 and what i found on the market is 4820071L21 (just one digit difference-the last digit).

I read the description from the one on the market that it is compatible for Swift 2010-2017 (see this link). My one is 2010 the one on the market is for Swift 2012.

So then, my question is, can i use the one on the market even though the part number is not exactly the same? Will it affect any steering lock or other functions?

Thanks in advance.

I think this is what happened to my car now. I had someone who I thought was reputable program a factory fob and my car is in safety mode and completely immobilized  the dealership stated I have to change the Auto steering lock assembly, Steering lock bolt and the Keyless switch assembly! So good to know I could go up a year in my parts search, Thank you.
