Hi guys!
I’m currently having the above issue with my Suzuki swift (2017) & it’s an absolute nightmare.
Local garages have no idea what the issue is & now I’ve not got much choice but to take it to Suzuki for £144 just for them to ‘investigate’… & then there’ll be a further charge to do any suggested work if they think it’s necessary.. so expensive, but also, I’m also worried I’ll pay & it won’t help at al! But even more, I’m annoyed that i have to pay to fix this seemingly stupid & flawed issue.

I thought the issue was only occuring wheh I connected my iPhone via Bluetooth , but I’ve started using just the radio now because the issue is SO annoying, & low & behold — it still constantly crashes. Tonight it happened about 3 times within ten mins … and I was sat stationary 😣😩

Anyone else having this issue / know what might be causing it?
TIA!

What firmware version is it running?

Do you happen to have any weird emoji characters to any of your phone contacts? I know it’s weird but I had the same problem with one of the two phones we use to connect via Bluetooth (Suzuki swift hybrid 2021) and it was only crashing with the one with the emojis in the contacts… once we removed the emojis it stopped crashing

I just left my 2020 Suzuki Vitara in for a routine service and this system crashing and rebooting had started to happen. Garage has just called to say it was the software. I'll be collecting it shortly so hopefully that is the issue. I had a very similar issue last year but this was more a CarPlay and connector issue to the system. iPhone wouldn't charge and couldn't connect CarPlay. The system would sporadically reboot. That issue was related to a faulty wiring harness going from the USB port to the Infotainment system.
