and its a 2019? and has no manual? I'd go and complain to the dealer you got it from and get them to reset it for free

You should be able to download a manual from the Suzuki website for your country.

I have just been to Kwikfit (22/1/20) due to the tyre pressure warning light being on (passenger front tyre only slightly lower than other 3 tyres) They checked it, put them all the same pressure, drove it around to reset it but the reset failed. I still have the warning light on which is annoying. They suggested going back to Suzuki. Should I go back to Kwikfit and ask them to do what you have suggested?

 

There can sometimes be an issue with cancelling of the alarm. If the system doesn’t auto reset - overinflate the offending tyre by about 10%. Drive at 20mph+ until the alarm cancels then set the tyre to the correct pressure

 

This has been covered previously. Over-inflate the tyres by 10% then drive the car until the alarm cancels (25+ mph for 10 minutes). Check the tyre pressures on the display and cross check with the pressures recorded on your gauge. Ensure that the readings are within about 1psi of each other on each tyre. After leaving the car to stand for a couple of hours - adjust the tyre pressures to the recommended settings. If the problem re-appears - check that the offending tyre isn't actually loosing pressure and that the alarm is genuine.

 

I followed the advice and went back to kwikfit, they overinflated the offending tyre and the warning light went out. They then put the pressures to correct amount, job done so thanks for the advice!

 

I had similar when the temperatures dropped; it’s a bit annoying being dictated to by a car. Sometimes running low pressure is useful!!

 

I need to print out this procedure and carry it i the glovebox.

 

Had this happen to me when the weather was cold. Wouldn't auto reset with driving. found a video that said change the TPMS from comfort mode to load mode and back again went away straight away and hasn't come back on since. Much easier fix that over inflating tyres

 

I know this works on Suzuki models with a single button to call up the menu but wasn't aware that it works on the 16> Ignis. The Suzuki workshop manual only describes the overinflation reset method. Just checking that your car is a 2016> Ignis?
