So wile i save $$$ for an engine swap or HiPo gti type build i have a tidy little fresh g13ba motor in good nick in my 92 sierra and am wondering wot are sum good tryed n true tweaks to get just a couple more hp.
There a realy old motor but there still an absolute beast of donk.
Iv put new

Leads
Plugs
Coil (gt40)
Got a timeing light and timed it dead on wot the hayns manual tells ya .
Played about with the carb in my case i think this is my next thing do the guy a got the suzi off had twist tie's holding the chok off and hose zip tied off and all that sorta thing and iv mostly sorted all that but were to next.

Eny long time suzi folk i would value your opinions and know how on good ways to get that bit much more from the g13ba sierra/samurai.

My first bit of advice, toss that Haynes manual as far as you can down a big deep hole. They are full of mistakes and misinformation

I have had Haynes manuals with incorrect timing marks, wrong torque figures and pictures that don't even match the vehicle.
Mostly its annoying things like wiring diagrams, model specific stuff and incorrect torque specs. Ask anybody with a tracker or sidekick what that does.

If there's not a fsm in the sticky section at the front of the forum, im sure someone will have one. Put your model and year of manufacture in your signature along with engine and transmission details
