Hi,

We are from Türkiye and drive a 2024 S-Cross mild hybrid 4x4 AllGrip. It has 1.4 lt engine putting out 129 HP and 6 speed automatic conventional transmission. We purchased a dash camera and would like to connect to the fuse box directly instead of using USB through cigarette lighter socket. We have found a fuse box under the hood, close to the steering wheel. However, we couldn't find where the second one is. We have checked the area under the steering wheel column in the driver side. Also checked the back of the glove box. But nothing found.

Under the steering wheel, there is a cover, however, there is knee airbag there and we checked with a torch, we couldn't see anything there.

We have also checked the manual. It recommends a heading to look at and read through. However, it doesn't exist, either 😊.

So could anyone help us find where the second fuse box is. If possible, a diagram will be highly appreciated.

Regards,

Hi again,

By means of adding more details to my previous thread, I would like to add the following;

1. Our dash cam is 70mai A810 front and RC12 rear.

2. The car comes with GLX Premium pack and has front and side airbags. I am pasting the official Suzuki Türkiye link below to show the actual car;

So especially, during the wiring for the rear cam, we would like to make sure that it should not mess with the airbags.

3. We have also purchased the park mode cable.

4. So, we want to make the wiring ending at the fuse box directly.

Having said that we are not %100 sure that there are or should be two fuse boxes. In the previous generation, there were two of them. So, keeping this in mind, we suppose that there should be two separate fuse boxes as the one under hood is too small and having very few fuses.

Thanks again and your help will be greatly appreciated.

Regards,

Welcome to the forum. I don’t have your car, but I believe it might be on the left side in the driver’s footwell, on the lateral panel of the car, under the steering wheel. I think it is visible if you remove the plastic panel that is a bit lower than the airbag panel.

Welcome to the forum. If you can get past the horrible music, this video might help:

Hello Bex,

Thanks a lot for your attachment. In fact, I had downloaded the manual for my car. However, there is no diagram related with the fuse box of the car although it claims to be so.

Back to your first response, I have also checked the part you mentioned but no avail.
I will keep looking and get back to this discussion when we find it.

Greetings,

How about this:
???

My search engine lets me ask AI questions. So, I asked where your fuse box is located. The answer:
“The fuse box for the 2024 Suzuki S-Cross mild hybrid 4x4 AllGrip is typically located in the engine compartment and also inside the cabin.

  1. Engine Compartment: You can usually find a fuse box near the battery or along the side of the engine bay. It may be covered by a plastic lid that you can remove to access the fuses.
  2. Interior Cabin: There is often a fuse box located under the dashboard on the driver's side. You may need to remove a panel or cover to access it.
For exact locations and diagrams, it's best to consult the owner's manual for your specific vehicle model, as it will provide detailed information on the fuse box locations and their corresponding fuses. If you don’t have the manual, you can often find it online or on the manufacturer's website.”

Not much help, sadly.

Good Morning Bex,

Thanks a million for your help! I have taken a look under the dashboard on the driver's side before. However, I will check again.

The funny thing is I had previously downloaded the manual from official Suzuki Türkiye's website. In the manual it refers to the fuse box in many places, however it doesn't exist :)

Anyways, I will check and get back to here for the others' reference.

Wish you a nice day.

Hello All,

First of all, I would like to thank you for your kind assistance.

Hopefully, we could find where the fuse box is located. It's just under the steering wheel behind a plastic cover, which also the knee bag. After some small screws, you can access it.

We also talked to the official dealer and have been told that we can connect our dashcam to Slot Number 9 at 15 Amp.

Hope this helps someone else, too.

All the best!
