I have a 2018 GL that I LOVE as it is a lovely vehicle - low fuel consumption and decent ground clearance which is awesome in our part of the world. I just love the look of the DRLs on the GLX, and now have an opportunity to buy a set.
Is it a straightforward replace or are there major issues swapping the headlights?

Specs may be different in other territories but in Europe:
The DRL feed would need to be swapped from the separate units to the headlamps. There are requirements such as that DRL’s must extinguish with headlamps on. Needs investigating but it may be a simple case of teeing the DRL feed into the”sidelight” feed. At worst you might need a relay. Fog lamp units are available for the DRL apertures If you wanted to fit them.

The main loom will be the same for all Ignis models but it would make connection easier if you sourced the spur leads for the new headlamps.

Suzuki and aftermarket headlamps don’t come with levelling motors so unless using 2nd hand units you‘d need to swap the motors over.
