LT, ya' gotta' call the CC company, site the non-delivery and tell them to refute / refuse / canx the charges. They'll credit you ASAP. They want to keep you. There are many other CC places that you can turn to and they know it.

That's been my experience.

Refer the CC folks to the BBB info that you found as well.

UPDATE: Attempting to call their Toll-Free number is a waste of time. There's no option to wait to talk to a "Live Rep". All that anyone can do is leave a message on their answering machine.

They do not respond to emails, either. I've exhausted attempts to get this matter settled and will be sending documentation to my VISA in order to get the money restored to my account.

Brief summary: Ordered parts May 4; One email on May 20 stating order SHIPPED; Order did NOT ship; Status updated to say, "Cancelled/Credit Issued: 5/20/09". There has been no credit back to my VISA to this day. Those kind of credits should take only 3 - 5 business days. They claim to be open 7 days a week.

With nearly 800 complaints and a "F" rating by the BBB, it's amazing they can still do business.

I haven't used them. But I'll tell you what...you can't beat RockAuto IMO.

I sampled one item (an EGR valve) from Parts Geeks and then RockAuto

Geek:
OES Genuine EGR Valve $287.75

RockAuto
STANDARD MOTOR PRODUCTS Part # EGV922 $242.79

And RockAuto has one hell of a good rep! ;)
Not sure about the "Geeks".

hey Max, i need some help figuring out Rock Auto's website..

when i select 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara, i am getting a very limited list of parts..

see below

can you send me a link to where you found the EGR valve etc..

aww, that sucks.. i would have liked to deal with Rock Auto because of the reviews..

I'll give the 'Geeks' a try and report back when i do..

You might try emailing Rock Auto. They have been very, very responsive and prompt in doing so during my brief experience with them.

service@rockauto.com

Tell them which part/s you need and see if they can locate it/them.

Good luck!

Just an update on this to close out this particular issue I had with AutoPartsGiant.com:

The credit card dispute has -- finally! -- been resolved. A full refund was just added today back to my VISA card.

As noted before, the original "non-purchase" was made on May 4th of this year and has just now been resolved.

Do NOT do business with AutoPartsGiant.com. Don't be tricked by all their phony ADs.

They have an "F" rating with the BBB.

EDIT: Update: This gets crazier all the time! First, I got an email that the money had been restored to my VISA account and, not too long after that notice, there's another notice that the funds have been HELD FOR .... PROCESSING. Sheesh...is this ordeal EVER going to be resolved? Stay tuned for further updates.

Finally: The Saga Ends!!

For those who have been following this ordeal that started back on May 4 of this year: The funds for this have FINALLY been restored to my VISA account as of today.

It's unbelievable to me that it would take this long to resolve such an apparently fraudulent action on the part of AutoPartsGiant.com.

Please, please, please...do yourself a big favor and NEVER EVER make an online purchase with this outfit. There are just too many huge complaints about them and the BBB gives them an F rating.

Great, finally resolved. It is amazing how long it takes sometimes to get your $ back from a credit card transaction these days(from some)
But a good lesson for the rest of us at your expense, L.Turner tho:mad:
