you can adjust the volume on the setting

on kaier unit, there is a seperate setting for volume of navigation and radio, music etc

Yes, I noticed where to adjust it.
Is on the Map settings. My mistake was looking for it on the unit settings (radio, android, etc)

Welcome to this forum.

As I understand it, it's as noted above - when the voice is giving a direction you increase the volume. Easily done with the steering wheel rocker.
