ahhhh, first post on a new forum. refreshing.
ok, i may soon be the new owner of a 97 metro with the 1.0 liter engine, according to the previous owner the engine has seen better days.
there is a big price difference between the 89-95 engine the G10 model, and the 96-97 engine the GB model.
from what i can tell the new engine gains a crank angle sensor.
soooooo, an older engine, with an older ecu would work fine, if the wiring harnesses are the same.
it's just a thought, and the current engine may not be that bad.
i'd also be interested in any cool swapable parts that can be switched over from other year or trim level metro's that would be cool to have (like a gauge cluster with a tach, ect.). kinda like little junkyard mods and all that.
also anybody try the new cam from here?
