Chime, Chime, with stop engine flashing, oil pressure.
I was on here in the past, but it stopped doing it. And now I can't find the posts telling how to replace the oil presser sensor as a first step

I thought the 2008 XL7 only came with the 3.6L 6 cyl. The problem is that periodically the warning chime would start chiming and the message low oil pressure/stop engine would show. It even did it once after changing the oil. I came on here and was given the advice to start with changing the oil pressure sensor. The car stopped doing it so I stopped my research. Now it is doing it again so I'm back on here and can't find the advise I got last time i.e. Where the sensor is, how to change it etc. please help
thanks,

Rather easy. The only sensor with wires in the area. No need to remove oil as it is mounted above oil level. Deep well socket is the best removal tool. A little tight of an area to navigate in.
