Exclamation Gear Selection Issues - Suzuki Grand Vitara 2007 1.9 DDis

Hi There

I have recently bought a 2007 Grand Vitara 1.9 DDis.

I am experiencing problems selecting second gear from cold. Similarly third gear seems notchy. Coming down the box from third into second is also difficult.

I have returned it to the dealer to rectify and they have greased the gear linkage.

This has not resolved the problem.

Would appreciate any info form other peoples experiences.

no, its not, we had 3 here at work, all were silky smooth shifters

Clutch is the culprit, and the stupid dual mass flywheel. Its binding and not releasing fully.
