Hi there

Would anyone happen to have a part number for the rear brake shoes on a 2004 Vitara xl7 2.0 HDI (European model) - might be same as shoes for North American 2.7L model.

I am having difficulty sourcing OEM spurious shoes that fit and Suzuki Main Dealer won't give me the part number. Needless to say the Suzuki Parts are quite expensive.

Max - the reason I asked for the chassis number is that he has the 2.0 diesel and those are slightly different - a chassis number lookup shows it as a JA420WD4.

For your chassis number, I get 53200-52D21 as the part number.

There was a part change in mid production, which could explain why you're having difficulty finding the correct shoes (53200-52D22 was used on vehicles after #00303085) - if you like you can try getting shoes for a US XL-7 01~03 - my listing shows the 53200-52D10 shoe set for that, which as Max points out has been superseded by the 53200-52D21 part.
