Hi All,
I just brought XL-7 few months ago. I am quite happy with it but only things worries me is, when I drive straight in 4x4 mode it work fine. But If I take U turn, take round about, drive back or slow driving in 4x4 mode it doesn't work correctly like any AWD (all wheel drive) does. Steering become very hard and it looks like if I turn steering little more then it will break something. Please advice me if it is normal and as expected or something wrong with it.

Hi Hardy

Are you using FWD on dry hard surfaces? If you are you will get those symptons you mention and will possibly damage your transmission. 4WD should only be selected on slippery surfaces (grass, mud, snow, shale,etc.). When 4WD is selected in slippery conditions you cannot beat it.

Happy off-roading

This is normal in 4wd. Thisis a real 4wd truck not an AWD truck. Just be sure that you do not make very tight turns in 4wd.. when its dry..
