Nov 1994 and she's still rolling... and I know the real figure is higher. That's the first time the digits ever lined up so well. The air freshener is about the only part that is in full working order.
235000 km, 146000 miles, everything works, purrs like a kitty, uses 1/4 liter of oil every 5000 km, city of calgary puts 30,000 to 40,000 tons of salt in the roads every winter so im forever puting pasties on it, dont have an air freshner.
196,134 miles on a 94 and still adding more to it everyday. Soon as it hits 202,230 I am swapping gauge clusters for the junkyard one I just pulled in hopes of stopping the noisy and shaky speedometer syndrome.
According to my calculator that's 315,647 kilometers!
182 on 2 door and 134 on 4 door, miles that is. the 4 door smokes at start up and leaks oil from head to block and now im doin the clutch but just the springs came out, the rest looks good in there. both bodies are gettin the cancer but under not on visable.
Had to retire my wifes quad 96 geo 16v auto 227k miles....retired due to rust and body damage. 94 8v auto now manual has 100k miles and idles smooth and makes good power. My wifes new quad 90 suzuki 8v manual has 90k miles and runs great. Got no roof, don't need air freshener
While I would usually never advocate the use of stop leak products, there's something sold at auto parts stores that's in a clear bottle. It looks like Motor Honey but it isn't. The name is eluding me at the moment.
It actually works extremely well. I've always used it for temp control on air cooled motors, but it stops small leaks very well. And if it doesn't leave residue in their tiny oil passages, it'll work fine in everything else.
Ill try to remember the name, I keep a bottle in the osh!t box of the kick.
