My mother recently bought a 2nd hand Wagon +R 2005 plate. It came with only one key and a fob with buttons to open/close doors which is held together with tape.
At first i thought that it was entire key missing. Now i am thinking the fob is the remenants of a key without the blade. The other key is a solid suzuki key no buttons.

Am I right in what i am thinking?

If i undo the tape around the buttons it opens up into two halves and a round piece pops out which i assume contains a battery.
Am i ritght in thinking there is a transponder inside the piece with the battery so all i need to do is to get a replacement blade and fob from ebay and get key blade cut somewhere, no idea where, and the key will be good to go?

Hoping for some advice. Many thanks.

Welcome to the forum.
Unfortunately I don't believe its that simple. The key transponder can be swapped over but the main key body contains a chip that the immobilizer system reads.
