Hi all. Im new to this site so please be gentle with me.
I ve owned my sierra flat tray ute for about 5 years and while I love it, it sadly lacks the power I sometimes need. I dont expect V8 performance but it would be nice to be dropping back gears every time it hits a hill.
It currently has 1L motor and 4 speed gearbox. I was wondering what I would need to do to get more power. Do I need to change up to 1.3L, 5Speed or can I just modify what I already have? If I do need to change over, will a larger motor/gearbox fit sraight in?
I would appreciate any advice given. Thanks.

hope this helps, here in the states they have put almost anything in place of the one liter motors, with the 1.3 you will have to replace both engine and trany, also either raise the body or find a hood off a sami that has the higher hood, i'm sure the intermediate drive shaft will need replacing, most of all is measure everything
