Hi all!

Got two codes coming up after an engine orange/yellow light was on for as while and is now also blinking:

P0031
P0335 crankshaft piston Sensor
P0300 Random multiple misfire

Not passing DEQ.
2002 XL7 - 135 miles
Should i just go ahead and replace all sensors ? DIY?
Where is a good source for those...i don't want to buy crappy ones:cool:

Love our truck !

Thanks!

This is flashing because you have a miss fire.. P0300

P0031= B1S1 heater, https://www.obd-codes.com/p0031
P0335= crankshaft piston Sensor P0335 – Crankshaft position (CKP) sensor -circuit malfunction – OBD2 Trouble Codes
P0300= Random multiple misfire, This may be a result of the P0031, or P0335

Test faults before throwing $$$/parts at it.

Also just went through the threads on the FAQ posting.

That a deep rabbit hole! wondering if battery replacement has anything to do...computer reset etc.

Removing the main battery will rest the ECU, but will not initiate these codes, unless you have a poor connection..

Perform a voltage drop on the main + and battery ground/engine..
