tranny cooler necessary? 97 tracker

If it's rated for it the way it came from the factory, I would guess it would not be an issue. Thats an uninformed viewpoint from someone who has a double core cooler on his car. Cooler the transmission is, the happier it is. Grab one from the junkyard for $5 and don't worry about it is my opinion on the subject. Unless you've gotta tap it for a cooler, then, I'm all outta ideas.
