Underinflated tires wear out faster, create excessive heat, increase fuel consumption, and make your vehicle more difficult to handle. Tires that are not properly balanced or are out of alignment wear out rapidly, increase wear and tear on the steering and suspension system, and may take you for a bumpy or unsafe ride. You can avoid many of these problems simply by checking the air pressure in your tires and by looking for signs of wear and misalignment at least once a month and before every long trip.

I have a 96 Geo Tracker 1.6 16v. I was told that the tire pressure should be set as to what the manufacture states on the sticker on the inside door panel, mine states 23lbs., this is based on the weight of the vehicle, and since I lowered my tire pressure from 32lbs., it does ride a little better. But I was wondering if car springs would help the ride??
