Driver side wheel has some 3 - 9 slop, none on the 12 - 6 so I assumed maybe my wheel bearing is toast. Got tire off and was getting set to remove the knuckle when I noticed that my 6 month old tie rod end is shot ( tons of play). So before I change out the bearing that I suspect is fine am gonna replace the tie rod end ( again ). None of the local parts stores have the esteem ones in stock, but one has a set that are for a 96 swift. Im reading that they will work from some sources, anyone know offhand if they are in fact compatible??
(my esteem is an 01 wagon with the 1.8)

Update here. I ended up ordering the part due to the price difference and I was in no hurry and for kicks took it in and compared side by side and the only difference I could see was the one for the geo/swift had a grease zerk installed. So you could in fact use one in a pinch.
