Hey the good folks of the forum, below is the link to the sammy, when I went to Santiago D.R. last year, I'd actually met the guy that made the sammy, he runs a repair shop in Santiago, and home brewed this crazy contraption. I was told the suspension is from a Land Rover, the engine is a Toyota with AC and PS, F/R bumpers, snorkel and fender flairs are homemade, in order to fit everything, he had to cut the mid fender and mid quarter panel, expand it 4", 8"in total. This is by far the craziest home brew I ever saw.
I'm now wondering if I should spend money on a SPOA kit, or go to local junkyards find something that may fit with some mods, only concern is if the suspension is made for a 4000lbs+ vehicle, then my Sammy may be too stiff or too lose? or just find some coil springs for a CR-V, and struts that fits the height, make my own brackets, then weld it in.....any input is greatly appreciated, thanks.
