I'm tryng to test a fuel pump on a 2004 V6 Verona. I pulled the pump and plan to test it by connecting it directly to the battery. However, the pump has a 5-pin connector and I'm not sure which pin would go to the positive terminal and which pin goes to the negative terminal.

Here's the connector.

Here's the wiring diagram.

Electrical Wiring Diagram 2006 Evanda 4. ECM (ENGINE CONTROL MODULE) : SIRIUS D6

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

It is either 4 or 5 on the 5 pin connector. Grey wire is hot, black wire is ground/earth.
If you get inside the tank the grey wire turns into a blue wire and black stays black and is ground. Pretty sure that is the way mine is. Yes I know this is very old post but in case anyone searches the archives.
