I own a 05 Suzuki verona and for about the past week or so, when I shift into Reverse or Drive I hear a big "clunk". Also, when I'm driving the car it will hesitate to shift gears and/or jerk a little, and RPM increases. Are these ALL symptoms of my transmission range sensor going out? Car has 80k miles. Oh yea one more thing, when im coming to a stop right before the car stops completely, it'll jerk forward a little -_-
Any help is appreciated.

Transmission Range Sensor

Is the transmission range sensor the same thing as a Neutral safety switch? I have an 05 Verona and it's so hard to find any parts for it. I know my transmission range sensor is out because my vehicle was doing the same thing as yours, but now i wont drive it at all. The light blinks where it says D or R, and I read this is called limp mode. Any idea of how hard it is to change this sensor yourself?
