In my suzuki sx4 2006 i have a Clarion- Model No. PS-4112K-A

i purchased a radio AUX cord (link is below)

3.5mm Jack Car Radio Mp3 Audio Aux Cable To 8 Pin Adapter For Nissan INFINITI/Sylphy/Tiida/Qashqai/Geniss #FD 1739-in Cables, Adapters & Sockets from Automobiles & Motorcycles on Aliexpress.com | Alibaba Group

The white connector plugs into the back of my car stereo, but nothing registers and music does not play though the cord when plugged into my phone.

I have found a photo of what the back of my car stereo looks like (link is below)

I also have another plug in area which comes off the wires located in this photo (photo is below)

Could anyone help me install an aux cord that works?

thank you :)

On a cable that works you have the L&R audio channels and a resistor bridging 2 contacts in the plug. The value of the resistor tells the radio that there's an Aux cable.
Search for one of the DIY aux cable posts to find the details and see if your Nissan cable does the same thing.
